I have been to St. Alban's Abbey with Martin and the Guiseley Choir this weekend, doing Choral Evensong on Saturday and High Mass today with all the bells and smells! First time I have ever been there and it was new to me, so good that it was something for ME!! It was amazing to sing in such a big place and you would have loved it, but it was MY weekend, and I have had a great time. Jonathan Kingston played organ for us and it was great to see him and catch up on all the fun and laughter we shared together all those years ago. He was not aware that he had played at your Celebration (on CD)!! and was a bit tearful when I told him. We received many amazing comments, and it was so fantastic that a small Parish Church Choir from North Leeds were allowed to do this weekend for them before their own Choir returns from Holiday. I left some candles burning in the Abbey before we left, and had a silent prayer for you in the private chapel just so that you could be part of it all. Lots of love. Your very own Paul. Xxxxxxxxxxxxx
