Hi my Darling, House sale confirmed. You never believed like I did that it is a good plot, but I have secured a great deal. It is Erica from No. 27 who wants it (remember Lewis - he's 12 now and needs more private space for homework etc.) and he fell in love with the breakfast bar.! House now confirmed as sold subject to contract, and I now have to start the clear out!! Having a difficult time with Laura. She seems to think that I am leaving my memories behind (and hers), but I keep trying to convince her that I am doing what you told me to do.!! Please help her to understand if you can. Memories are in the heart, not in bricks and mortar. Yes I know I will never forget the happy times we had here, or in any other house we have shared, but as you have instructed me it really is time to move on. I will never forget our times in this house, they are very precious, but memories never leave you and I have to be brave!! This deal wouldn't have happened without your support and love, and it is absolutely perfect. Must have been meant to be!! Joe, Jane, Poppy and I went to talk to you yesterday at your tree. Hello my love. I know I haven't been in touch since the end of the show, but you are always in my thoughts. You have been playing tricks on me with pictures falling off the wall, and exploding light bulbs!! Anyway, Deja vu time again! On Tuesday I took the bold decision to sign all the papers at the Solicitors for my purchase of the new house in Guiseley, and the sale of this place, even though at that point Paddock Drive had only been on the market for 5 days. The following day I had a knock at the door from a neighbour who wants to buy it. They don't need to sell their own house and have offered me a great price with no pressure cos they are quite prepared to wait for my new house to be completed and are in no rush as long as they can secure the house. All I need from them is confirmation that they can definitely fund the purchase and then it's a done deal. What a great result. Thankyou for looking down on me!
