My Darling M, It is so hard to know what to say today, or where to start. You and I met on 26th April 1981, and went on to share more than 30 years of such happiness, love, fun and music together which have given me so many amazing memories. Today is the saddest day of my life. I have to say goodbye to you, my darling wife, my best friend, my beautiful girl, my love, my life. Lots of people meet and fall in love, but not many get to meet their true soulmate in life as I have done. I was so lucky that I found you, and am so proud and honoured to have been your husband. You were the kindest, most loving, generous and caring person I have ever known. You had an incredible love of life and sense of fun. Your energy and vitality were boundless. You were the most Wonderful Wife to me, a Great and Loving Mum to Laura and Alan, and the Best Grandma that Thomas, William, Ellie and Lucy could ever have wished for. I do not have the words to express the loss and emptiness I feel today. My Life will never be the same again. It is so comforting to see so many of our friends and the family here to say goodbye. I have never known anyone else who was loved so much by so many people. If you were friends with someone, they had a friend for life. You seemed to have a perfect way of getting into peoples hearts. You treasured friendship so much, and would never let a friend down. Even during your illness you always seemed more concerned for others misfortunes than your own. You displayed such courage over the last awful 7 months which has amazed us all, but that courage has also been an inspiration to everyone for the future. Your meticulous planning for this Thanksgiving and Celebration of you has given us all yet another wonderful memory of you. Your choice of music led to the greatest congregational singing ever heard at The Cathedral. You have touched so many many lives with your example to us all of kindness, courage, friendship and most of all, LOVE. You were and always will be be loved by everyone who knew you. So, sleep tight my darling. May God enfold you in his loving arms and keep you safe until the day when I can come and be with you again and remain with you for all eternity. God Bless you My Lamb, I LOVE YOU. XXXX Your Love, Your Life........Your Paul. Xxxxxxxxxxx
