In 1988 Martha joined Paul, his Dad and Alan in the Choir at the Cathedral and sang happily there for 16 years until the summer of 2004. During that time we made many new friends, Martin Baker, Alan Horsey,, and many others all of whom were great friends to us and Alan and Laura and brought such joy to us all (and Dad!) Martha was confirmed into the Church by Bishop Roy Williamson in 1988 and we continued to enjoy great friendships, fun and music there until we left in 2004 when we didn't feel a part of all that we had experienced anymore, and the new Choirmaster demanded more than we could give. We initially went to help Martin in his new venture at Guiseley, but the travel was too much for us both when Grandchildren started to fill our weekends. There are so many happy memories of all those years not to mention the Royal Maundy service in 1997 when we met the Queen and Prince Philip.
